L’objectiu principal d’este nou edifici és acollir la rehabilitació ambulatòria de baixa i mitjana complexitat de l’Hospital de Tortosa Verge de la Cinta i traslladar també la rehabilitació del CAP Baix Ebre, permetent així destinar noves àrees a consultes polivalents per atendre activitats assistencials de diversos serveis de la zona. L’ampliació consisteix en un edifici annex al CAP Roquetes, amb una àrea de recepció de 120 metres quadrats, una zona tècnica de gairebé 600 metres quadrats que inclou un gimnàs, vestidors, 15 boxs de tractament i fins a 8 sales, entre elles una d’hidroteràpia. També s’hi han habilitat espais de suport i per al personal. Un espai que aposta per la millora de la qualitat assistencial.
