L’objectiu és gestionar de manera coordinada l’àrea del Parc Natural del Ports on conflueixen els tres termes municipals, amb actuacions urbanístiques, de conservació ambiental i de promoció turística. Una reivindicació històrica que permetrà gestionar conjuntament aquest entorn per donar resposta a problemes quotidians i demandes veïnals que fins ara eren difícils de resoldre per separat. També s’ha destacat la voluntat de superar les actuacions puntuals per apostar per projectes de més llarga durada que es puguin entre les tres poblacions. Després de l’aprovació dels estatuts, ara es continuarà amb la tramitació administrativa a la Diputació de Tarragona, el Consell Comarcal del Baix Ebre i la Generalitat.
