Garcia ho ha dit este dilluns, durant una visita als treballs per enderrocar l’edificació del número 9 carrer Murall. De fet, el carrer Matarranya quedarà connectat amb el mateix carrer Murall i amb el carrer Lope de Vega. L’Ajuntament va adquirir esta casa per un import de 19.400 euros, i el pressupost total de les obres és de 35.000 euros.&#13;

“Aquesta actuació, que va ser aprovada al Pla Urbanístic del 2003, ha de servir per obrir més espais al nucli antic perquè els ciutadans puguin circular més còmodament”, ha valorat Garcia. Segons el regidor roquetenc, el carrer Matarranya continuarà tenint la mateixa amplada, però al lloc en què es trobava la casa enderrocada “es crearan a banda i banda del carrer dues petites places d’uns cinc metres de profunditat, perquè els ciutadans puguin gaudir d’aquest espai amb la instal·lació d’un parell de banquets”.</text>
