El saló de plens es va omplir per recordar aquells fets, amb una de les urnes del referèndum i un vídeo dels fets que es van viure al pavelló que va fer emocionar als presents.&#13;

L’ajuntament va homenatjar les persones que van participar en la jornada del referèndum de l’1 d’octubre i va reconèixer privadament a les que van resultar ferides per la policia. Ho va fer en el marc de les celebracions de la independència del municipi, en un acte on sempre es reconeix als veïns que han destacat en algun aspecte. Però que enguany, la situació política ha fet especial. L’alcalde va acabar emocionat al mateix temps que el públic es posava dempeus. A Roquetes, com a la Ràpita, les imatges de l’1 d’octubre, no s’oblidaran mai.</text>
