El regidor de Movem Roquetes, Toni Hurtado, ha confirmat els contactes de l’oposició per intentar configurar un govern alternatiu a Esquerra. De fet, encara que ja fa una setmana de la renúncia de Paco Gas, el nom del nou alcalde o alcaldessa no se sabrà fins al ple extraordinari que se celebrarà dilluns, 7 de febrer, a les set del vespre. I és que este divendres, Movem ha anunciat que no votarà el candidat o candidata proposat per Esquerra, que governa en minoria a Roquetes des de les últimes eleccions municipals. Mentrestant, el regidor no adscrit Ximo Llopis, és qui realment té la clau de l’Ajuntament, ja que que podria decantar la balança a favor de la continuïtat del govern d’Esquerra o bé per un altre equip de govern, format per Movem, Junts i el PSC. De fet, els republicans només necessitarien l’abstenció de Llopis, que no pot postular-se com a alcalde per aplicació de la normativa antitransfuguisme. Segons Hurtado, este dijous, l’oposició va tornar a reunir-se, però encara no hi ha cap decisió presa.
