El recorregut del massís dels Ports constarà d’uns vuit quilòmetres, un desnivell mitjà d’un 9% i amb rampes de fins al 20%. El representant territorial de l’Esport a Terres de l’Ebre, Joan Barberà, ha afirmat que el pic del Mont Caro és una destinació encertada per als ciclistes. La Volta Ciclista serà una oportunitat per fomentar el sector turístic. Així ho ha destacat l’alcaldessa de Tortosa, Meritxell Roigé.
