Este dimarts s’ha presentat la nova il·luminació fotovoltaica del tram de Via Verda que uneix els municipis de Roquetes i de Jesús. És un tram relativament curt però de vital importància, ja que és molt concorregut, popular per als ciclistes i persones que es mouen entre els dos municipis. La nova il·luminació ajudarà a transformar, no només la Via Verda, sinó també l’accés a la nova carretera del Reguers i farà incrementar els usuaris de tots aquests espais que impulsen una mobilitat sostenible, d’una manera més segura en l’horari nocturn. Aquesta infraestructura ha rebut el finançament de la Diputació de Tarragona i de l’IDECE i forma part del projecte del Consell Comarcal del Baix Ebre d’il·luminar tots aquells punts urbans, com el que es va inaugurar fa poc més d’un any al tram entre Tortosa i Roquetes.
