Ivan Garcia reconeix la dificultat per a recuperar l’activitat industrial, però creu que canviaria si es recupera el projecte de variant de Roquetes i Tortosa, de l’Eix de l’Ebre.&#13;

L’alcalde de Roquetes ha aprofitat el seu pas per Canal 21 Ebre per reivindicar la idoneïtat dels terrenys del Pla Parcial Camí de Roquetes com a lloc per a la construcció del nou hospital universitari de les Terres de l’Ebre.&#13;

El pròxim 14 d’abril, Roquetes celebrarà la gran festa de la seua independència i formalitzarà el primer agermanament de la ciutat amb la localitat francesa de Saint-Marcel-sur-Aude, que guarda el record de Joan Castells Vilalta, l’alcalde republicà roquetenc que s’exilià a este petit poble a tocar de Narbona.</text>
