Tècnics de Birding Natura (entitat dedicada a la conservació), amb la col·laboració i suport del Parc Natural dels Ports, del grup de Suport de Muntanya dels Agents Rurals i del MITECO, han realitzat el marcatge i alliberament d’aquests exemplars en el marc d’un projecte de conservació del duc de Birding Natura i Endesa. El municipi de Roquetes ja té ‘Roquetenc de l’Any’. Aquest 2022, un dels guardons més cèlebres que atorga el consistori ha anat a parar a la seva Associació de Dones, fundada l’any 1995. L’entrega l’han fet coincidir amb la diada de Sant Jordi per tal de complementar tota una jornada de festa amb colofó final. La resta d’actes culturals i lúdiques als quals podran assistir els roquetencs, les roquetenques i els visitants de la ciutat seran alguns com ara: el concert d’Òpera a l’Església Parroquial, l’actuació del Mag Ignasi, la xocolatada popular, entre d’altres.
